The Healthy Church Initiative Process was a Godsend for our church! The pay-off in Kingdom terms has been more than worth it. After years of steady decline, worship attendance rose 10.5% from 2009 to 2010 and we have baptized more people in the first three months of 2011 than in all of 2010!
The HCI process has given me tools that I wish I had when I began my full time ministry and it has changed the way I do ministry with the local churches that I serve. HCI is helping pastors and local churches to be outwardly focused to the communities they serve. The Healthy Church Initiative process truly builds healthy ministries.
We wanted to figure out how to become more outwardly focused and reach more people, but didn’t know how. Before the HCI process we averaged 167 in attendance and after going through the process we now averaged 183 in regular attendance! We are accomplishing our mission to reach more people, and though there is still a lot to be done we are on the right track!
